Saudi Arabia's crown Prince has ordered an investigation into the stampede at the hajj pilgrimage that left over 700 dead.
Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, who chairs the Saudi Hajj committee, ordered the probe during a meeting with senior officials responsible for the pilgrimage in Mina, where the stampede took place.
The findings of the investigation will be submitted to King Salman, "who will take appropriate measures" in response.
Meanwhile, authorities claim that the incident occurred during the stoning of Satan in Mina.

World Bank has ranked Gujarat as the number 1 state in ease of doing business with 71.14%. Andhra Pradesh is second with 70.12%. Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh follows. Maharashtra, India's biggest industrialized state, was ranked eighth. hese rankings were provided in the report titled 'Assessment of State Implementation of Business Reforms' which was prepared by World Bank in association with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), KPMG, CII and Ficci.

As many as 70 Indian seamen from Jam Salaya and Mandvi ports of the coastal Jamnagar and Kutch districts in Gujrat have been stranded in five dhows at Khokha port of Yemen for the past 15 days. They got stranded following heavy artillery firing and air raids between warring groups in the civil war that has plunged Yemen into crisis. These sailors are believed to be crew of country crafts from Mandvi in Kutch and Jam Salaya in Jamnagar districts that regularly carry out trading of various kinds of merchandise between India and the Gulf countries.
